This way you may not only prevent him from churning but maybe gain a hard-core fan. Just don’t forget to fix the issue that was causing the app to crash in the first place!

Activity based when an error event is tracked
Select all users in the audience page.
Select Push-notification as the action and write a message apologising for the crash and saying you are working on preventing that happens again.
Make the action Activity-based and select the option that is triggered by the “app_crash” event.
