Step by step guide
  1. 1. Navigate to the Formulas page.
  2. 2. Click New Formula in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. New Formula Button
  4. 3. Set up each step as follows:

Define a custom segment with users that have made 2 purchases (so the next one is the 3rd purchase).

Formula audience to Improve the user's experience

Select Slack as the action and add the Slack channel link to where to send the message, i.e. the event that was done and the user that did it (automatically done by Liquid).

Make the action Activity-based and select the option that is triggered by the “buy-product” event.

  1. 4. When you're done click on Activate Formula, choose a meaningful name, and you're done!
